On May 23, 2025, the first member representative conference and the first council meeting of the 8th term of Jiangsu Advertising Association were grandly held in Nanjing. Liu Haihong, Deputy Minister of the Social Work Department of the Jiangsu Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China and Secretary of the Comprehensive Party Committee of Social Organizations in Jiangsu Province, Xue Qiang, Deputy Director and member of the Party Group of the Jiangsu Provincial Market Supervision and Administration Bureau, and Zhang Guohua, President of the China Advertising Association, attended the meeting and delivered important guiding opinions. A total of 439 representatives from advertising enterprises, institutions, advertisers and individual members across the province gathered together, attending the conference with a strong sense of responsibility and mission, to jointly plan a new chapter in the development of Jiangsu Advertising Association. President Huang Biao of Lingtong, as the executive vice president of the association, was invited to attend the meeting.

The conference strictly followed the relevant provisions of the "Regulations on the Administration of the Registration of Social Organizations", the "Guidelines for the Transition of Leadership" and the association's articles of association, and elected the members, executive members, and responsible persons of the 8th council, as well as the supervisors and the chairperson of the 8th supervisory board. A total of 177 directors and 59 executive directors were elected.

The meeting elected Zhang Li, the chairperson of Nanjing Yindu Aomei Advertising Co., LTD., as the president, Zhou Kai, the director of the Creative Industry Research Center of Nanjing University, a professor and doctoral supervisor at the School of Journalism and Communication of Nanjing University, as the vice president (executive) and secretary-general, and Zhou Zhiqiang, the chairperson of Nanjing Yongda Outdoor Media Co., LTD., as the supervisor.

Wu Zhiqiang, Wang Anxia, Li Fang, Sun Ping, Miao Yi, Huang Biao, Yu Zhijun, CAI Wei, Li Feng and Wang Hui were elected as vice presidents (executive directors). Xie Li, Wang Yong, Yu Yu, Bian Qingbo, Xu Ting, Liu Ning, Li Gan, CAI Chunsheng, Zhang Yingjun, Li Xiang, Cheng Huadong, Zhang Hongbing, Yu Haiyang, Zhu Xuefeng, Xu Yangyang, Chen Jian and Qian Jiangang were elected as vice presidents.

Finally, the meeting deliberated and approved the work report of the seventh council of Jiangsu Advertising Association, the financial work report, the work report of the supervisor, the charter of Jiangsu Advertising Association, the management measures for membership fee collection, the internal management system and other related proposals.
