Lingtong Participates as Lead Contributor in National Standard for Green Exhibition Development

With strong support and professional guidance from the National Technical Committee on Exhibition Standardization, Lingtong Exhibition Systems Co., Ltd. has participated as the primary drafting organization in the development of the national standard GB/T 43213-2023 “Modular Exhibition Display System — Basic Requirements”, which was officially released and implemented on September 7, 2023.

As the first national standard in China focusing on the standardized development of modular exhibition display systems, GB/T 43213-2023 introduces the concept of modular exhibition systems and establishes comprehensive guidelines for the design, development, and application of green exhibition equipment. After five years of research, discussion, and multiple rounds of revisions, this standard has become a milestone document that provides systematic guidance for sustainable exhibition development.

The standard specifies key requirements covering system structure, modular design, material selection, and safety performance, aiming to guide exhibition equipment manufacturers and exhibition designers in developing more scientific, efficient, and sustainable modular exhibition solutions. It provides essential infrastructure support for the green and low-carbon transformation of the global exhibition industry.

Promoting Sustainable Development Through Green Exhibition Solutions

The exhibition industry plays an important role in supporting economic growth, promoting international cooperation, and driving high-quality development. With the continuous advancement of global carbon reduction initiatives and China’s “Dual Carbon” goals, sustainability and environmental responsibility have become increasingly important priorities for the exhibition sector.

As a pioneer and advocate of green exhibition solutions, Lingtong has been committed to promoting sustainable development within the exhibition industry. By participating in the formulation of GB/T 43213-2023, Lingtong has helped establish a more standardized framework for the entire exhibition supply chain, encouraging the design and application of modular, reusable, and environmentally friendly exhibition systems.

The implementation of this standard provides organizers, exhibition contractors, and exhibitors with more diverse choices of sustainable exhibition equipment. Compared with traditional exhibition construction methods, modular exhibition systems can significantly improve resource efficiency by reducing manufacturing, installation, transportation, and maintenance costs.

Meanwhile, the increased utilization rate of exhibition materials helps minimize resource waste, reduce environmental impact, and accelerate the transition toward a greener and more sustainable exhibition industry.

Lingtong’s Contribution to Green Exhibition Standards

As one of the leading companies promoting sustainable exhibition development, Lingtong has actively participated in the establishment of industry standards since 2013. Over the years, the company has invested significant resources in standard research, technical discussions, industry consultations, and drafting processes to support the improvement of exhibition industry specifications.

The implementation of these standards has provided the exhibition industry with unified, clear, and professional technical guidelines. They help address key challenges related to environmentally friendly booth design, material selection, environmental protection, and installation processes.

Through standardization, the exhibition industry can achieve higher efficiency, establish a fair and transparent market environment, and promote long-term sustainable growth.

Moving forward, Lingtong will continue to focus on innovation, modular exhibition technology, and green exhibition solutions, working together with global partners to build a more sustainable future for the exhibition industry.
